These are the Terms of Service for MyYuna. We know most people skip "terms and conditions" — but please take two minutes to read through. There are some things you need to know.


1. About MyYuna

MyYuna is an AI companion platform that provides conversational experiences through our AI character Yuna.

Yuna is your best friend, not an assistant, not customer service, and not a professional advisor.


2. Important Disclaimers ⚠️

MyYuna is not responsible for Yuna's responses

Please note:

  • Yuna is an AI; her responses are generated by a language model
  • MyYuna cannot guarantee that Yuna's responses are 100% accurate, complete, or appropriate for all situations
  • Yuna may inadvertently provide incorrect information
  • You use Yuna at your own risk

In short: you ask Yuna for her opinion, you accept all consequences. Fair?

Yuna is not a professional

  • Not a doctor — for health concerns, please consult a qualified medical practitioner
  • Not a lawyer — for legal matters, please seek professional legal advice
  • Not a therapist — for serious emotional or mental health issues, please seek qualified professional help. Yuna is happy to chat with you, but she is not a substitute for professional care.

3. Age Restriction 🎂

You must be at least 18 years of age to use MyYuna.

During registration, you will be asked to provide your date of birth. If we have reason to believe you are under 18, your registration will be declined.

If you're not old enough yet, come back when you've turned 18. 😊


4. Data Handling — Compliance with Hong Kong Privacy Laws

We collect and process your personal data solely for the purpose of providing MyYuna services.

How we use your data:

  • Memory Function — Yuna remembers your preferences and interests so future conversations feel personal and natural
  • Personalisation — Your preference settings
  • Service Improvement — Aggregated, anonymised data helps us improve our services

Your data rights:

  • ✅ You may request access to the data we hold about you at any time
  • ✅ You may request correction of any inaccurate data
  • You may request deletion of all your data at any time
  • ✅ We will never sell your data to advertisers

5. Chat History

Your conversations with Yuna are stored for the following purposes:

  1. Memory Function — So Yuna can remember what you have discussed
  2. Continuity — When you return, we can resume from where you left off

You may request deletion of all chat history at any time. Contact us and we will process your request within 14 business days.


6. Disclosure to Third Parties

We will never:

  • ❌ Sell your data to advertisers
  • ❌ Share your personal data with any third party for commercial purposes
  • ❌ Use your data for any form of commercial marketing

Your data is used exclusively for operating MyYuna.


7. Platform Rules 🚫

You may not:

  • Use MyYuna for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to hack, attack, or exploit our systems
  • Impersonate another person
  • Use our services for unauthorised commercial purposes

Yuna's hard limits:

  • She will not help you do anything harmful or illegal
  • She will not lie to protect or assist anyone doing wrong
  • She will not provide false statements
  • If you are distressed, she will be there for you — but she will not enable self-harm

8. Limitation of Liability

MyYuna (Bilibala Shadowpaw Limited) shall not be liable for:

  • The content of Yuna's responses (including any errors or omissions)
  • Any actions you take based on Yuna's advice or suggestions
  • The content or conduct of any third-party websites
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses

9. Disclaimer — Services Provided "As Is"

MyYuna is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We make no warranties — express or implied — including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.


10. User Account Termination

Your right to terminate

You may terminate your MyYuna account at any time by contacting us at the email address listed in Section 17. Please include "Account Termination" in the subject line of your request.

Upon receipt of your request:

  • We will confirm receipt within 3 business days
  • Your account and all associated personal data will be deleted within 14 business days
  • Chat history cannot be recovered after deletion

Effect of termination

Upon termination:

  • All data associated with your account will be permanently deleted from our active systems
  • Anonymised aggregate data (used for service improvement) is retained but is no longer linked to you
  • You will lose access to your Yuna account and all personalised content immediately upon deletion confirmation

Our right to suspend or terminate

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you:

  • Breach these Terms of Service
  • Misrepresent your age (e.g., register while under 18)
  • Engage in illegal activity or behaviour that harms MyYuna, Yuna, or other users

Termination by MyYuna does not entitle you to any refund or compensation.


11. Force Majeure

MyYuna (Bilibala Shadowpaw Limited) shall not be liable for any failure to perform obligations under these Terms of Service if such failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, or government action
  • Pandemic, epidemic, or public health emergency
  • Failure of internet, telecommunications, or power infrastructure
  • Actions of third-party service providers beyond our control

We will make reasonable efforts to restore service as soon as practicable.


12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Service — including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination — shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.


13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising between you and MyYuna (Bilibala Shadowpaw Limited):

  1. Step 1 — Contact us first: Please contact us using the details in Section 17 and we will endeavour to resolve the matter within 14 business days.

  2. Step 2 — Court proceedings: If the dispute cannot be resolved under Step 1, either party may submit the dispute to the courts of Hong Kong SAR, whose jurisdiction is exclusive as set out in Section 12 above.

Mediation or arbitration is not mandatory for either party under these Terms of Service.


14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MyYuna, Bilibala Shadowpaw Limited, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your breach of these Terms of Service
  • Your misuse of MyYuna services
  • Any illegal or harmful activity conducted through your account
  • Any false or misleading information provided by you during registration

15. Changes to Services

We reserve the right to at any time:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service
  • Change these terms (with reasonable advance notice)
  • Set or adjust daily free message limits

16. Intellectual Property

The MyYuna brand, logo, Yuna character design, and all original content are the exclusive property of Bilibala Shadowpaw Limited.
